And although I will have a bit of extra income soon, I still plan to be a bit...stingy...with my money for a little longer. Therefore I want to focus on one group of clothing in my closet to build up during this time of stinginess. That group is basics. Sweaters, tees and blazers. Simple, versatile and classic. Pieces that I could wear every week if need be and could still mix and match without getting tired of them. Pieces that can go from the office to the weekend seamlessly. These are a few of my favorite basics lately.

Well first of all congrats on the new job!
ReplyDeleteI adore those trousers. I can honestly say that there is not a hint of yellow in my whole wardrobe but these pants have pitched that color to me perfectly and I am sold.
I actually JUST created a list on my phone of basics that I need to buy for fall before I buy anything else! I love all the items you find, you always nail it. I'm especially digging that heart sweater and yellow pants!
ReplyDeleteI love those yellow trousers.
ReplyDeletelove the cut of that black style mint tee! but i don't really love their quality- what do you think?
ReplyDeleteBasics are definitely a must! Are you going for more of a long lasting basic collection? As a poor college girl, I love the cheap t-shirts from Old Navy. But that sweater and killer bracelets are definitely worth the splurge!!
