Happy Weekend!

The month of June and the weekend have both arrived.  This weekend I intend to spend lots of time outside, enjoying the weather with friends.  Here is my weekend wish list.

1) Running all over the city.  (No, there are no mountains in Minneapolis)

2) Attending one or two Corepower Yoga classes.

3) Possibly going to see Snow White and the Huntsmen.  It looks so good!

4) Adding other things to my extremely sparse inspiration board.  This is the only thing on it right now.

5) Relaxing with friends and (hopefully) making a trip to Lake Calhoun to enjoy this beautiful weather.

Street Style

I love fashion.  Can you tell?  And lately I've been loving photographs of street style.  Of course looks from the runway and of celebrities are wonderful as well.  But there is something special about seeing a complete stranger in their element, putting their unique style on display.  Lately I've been obsessed with The Sartorialist for these looks.  Scott Schuman, the founder behind the website, captures his subjects so eloquently and in a way that makes you want to know more about them.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the site.

Allow me to elaborate:

-As much as I love the stacked wrist look, it's going to be pretty hard to pull off when I own a total of two bangles.  

-It's also hard to keep up my love for blazers when I have two to my name, and they're both black.

  

-I have a pink Zara skirt similar to the one above that I love. It would be wonderful to have another so people don't start to judge me for wearing the same skirt to every single social function.  

-I am in need of a new wallet.  My current wallet is from freshman year of college and it has seen better days.  Even my mom is starting to judge me for it.  And that is saying something.

Weekend Snapshots

Happy Memorial Day!  This weekend was spent at my parents house.  It was very relaxing and a much needed break from the city.  But I am very happy to be back.

On Friday afternoon I got fitted for a 

bridesmaid dress for my brother's wedding.

On Sunday I went to my little cousin's birthday

party.  I found this dinosaur protecting it's nest.

I also found this birthday cake.

I bought these delicious cupcakes for a friend.

Today my mom and I went to the Wilde Roast 

Cafe for lunch.

So tasty.
